User Data Deletion Instructions

1. How to request deletion

You can request deletion by email. This method is available whether or not you can still sign in.

1. Email your request.
   Send an email to privacy@aslitech.pk with the subject User Data Deletion Request.
2. Identify the service.
   State the AsliTech website, application, product, or client system you used, and whether you signed in with email, phone, Google, Facebook, or another provider.
3. Provide matching account details.
   Include the name and email address or phone number associated with the account. Do not send your password, one-time code, payment card number, national ID, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
4. Choose the scope.
   Tell us whether you want deletion of the entire account and associated data, particular content, connected-platform data, or another clearly described set of information.
5. Complete verification.
   Respond to any reasonable verification message we send. Verification protects your information from unauthorized deletion requests.

2. Requests involving Facebook, Google, or another connected platform

If you used Facebook Login, Google Sign-In, or another connected platform with an AsliTech-operated application, include the following in your email:

• The name of the AsliTech application or service.
• The email address associated with your AsliTech account and, where known, the email associated with the connected platform.
• The approximate date you first connected the account.
• A clear statement that you want data received from that platform deleted.
• Your AsliTech username or account ID, if visible. Do not send platform access tokens or passwords.

After verification, we will delete or anonymize data held by AsliTech that was obtained through the connected platform, subject to the limited retention exceptions below. Removing the connection inside Facebook or Google does not always delete copies already stored by an application, so submitting this request ensures we review AsliTech-held data as well.

3. Information to include in your request

• Full name.
• Account email address and/or telephone number.
• Application, website, product, or service name.
• Sign-in method: email, phone, Google, Facebook, Apple, or other.
• Requested scope: full account, profile, uploaded content, platform data, marketing record, or another category.
• Any useful reference number, username, organization, subscription, or approximate dates.

Providing complete, accurate details helps us locate the correct records. Please send the request from the email address associated with the account where possible.

4. Identity and authority verification

Before deleting data, we may verify control of the registered email address or phone number, ask you to sign in, request confirmation through an existing account channel, or ask for limited additional information that matches our records.

If you act for another person or an organization, we may request evidence of authority. We will request only what is reasonably necessary and will not use verification information for unrelated purposes.

We may deny or pause a request that cannot be verified, is manifestly fraudulent, would delete another person’s information, or conflicts with a legal obligation. We will explain the reason where legally permitted.

5. Information normally deleted or anonymized

Depending on the service and your request, deletion may cover:

• Account profile, contact information, login associations, preferences, and non-essential identifiers.
• Data received from a connected provider, including Facebook or Google profile information and provider identifiers held by AsliTech.
• User-created content, uploaded files, saved drafts, messages, or records that are not required to be retained.
• Marketing subscription information, except a minimal suppression record used to honor your opt-out.
• Service usage records that can be reasonably linked to you, where deletion is required and operationally feasible.

Where complete deletion is not technically appropriate, information may be irreversibly anonymized so it can no longer reasonably identify you.

6. Information we may retain

We may retain a limited amount of information where necessary to:

• Comply with tax, accounting, company, court, regulatory, or other legal obligations.
• Complete transactions, resolve payment disputes, enforce agreements, or establish and defend legal claims.
• Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or repeated violations.
• Maintain a record that a deletion or marketing opt-out request was honored.
• Protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, clients, AsliTech, and the public.
• Preserve records contained in disaster-recovery backups until they expire through normal secure rotation.

Retained information is restricted to the relevant purpose and is not used for ordinary product activity or marketing. Aggregated or anonymized information that no longer identifies you may also be retained.

7. Processing timeline

• Acknowledgement: We aim to acknowledge a complete request within 7 business days.
• Verification: Timing depends on how quickly required verification is completed.
• Completion: We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Complex requests or legally permitted extensions may take longer; we will provide an update.
• Backups: Residual copies may remain in encrypted or access-restricted backups until the normal backup cycle expires.

These targets do not reduce any shorter deadline required by applicable law.

8. Data in a system operated for an AsliTech client

AsliTech builds and supports systems for businesses, NGOs, institutions, and public-sector organizations. Where the relevant organization controls your data, that organization is normally responsible for deciding whether it should be deleted.

Submit your request first to the organization whose service you used. You may copy privacy@aslitech.pk if AsliTech technical assistance is required. We will route or support the request under the client’s instructions and applicable agreement.

9. Revoke connected-app access

You may also disconnect an AsliTech app through the security or connected-app settings of Facebook, Google, Apple, or another provider. Revoking access stops future access through that connection but may not by itself delete information already stored by AsliTech. Submit the deletion request above for deletion of AsliTech-held copies.

Deleting an app from your device also does not automatically delete your server-side account or stored data.

10. Confirmation and deletion request record

After completing the request, we will send confirmation to the verified contact address. The confirmation may identify the service, completion date, categories deleted or anonymized, and any limited category retained with the reason.

We may keep a minimal request log containing a reference number, request date, completion status, and proof that the request was fulfilled. This protects both the user and AsliTech and is not used for marketing.
