1. Who we are and the scope of this policy

AsliTech is a Karachi-based technology company providing custom software development, mobile application development, website design and development, e-commerce solutions, digital marketing and SEO support, IT consultancy, and hardware and software support.

This Privacy Policy applies to aslitech.pk, AsliTech-owned applications and hosted services that link to this policy, business communications, support interactions, demonstrations, proposals, and service engagements. A particular AsliTech product or a client-owned system may provide an additional privacy notice. Where an additional notice conflicts with this policy, the product-specific notice governs for that product.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organization, job title, and postal address.
• Project and inquiry information submitted through forms, email, messaging services, meetings, proposals, or support requests.
• Account information, login credentials, profile details, preferences, and security settings when an AsliTech service requires an account.
• Transaction, billing, subscription, and payment-related records. Payment card details may be processed directly by a payment provider rather than stored by AsliTech.
• Content you upload, submit, publish, store, or transmit through an AsliTech service.
• Feedback, survey responses, communications, and records of consent.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser information, IP address, operating system, language, screen size, approximate location derived from IP, and technical identifiers.
• Usage data, including pages viewed, referring pages, clicks, session dates and times, feature usage, errors, diagnostics, and performance logs.
• Cookie and similar technology data, subject to your settings and applicable law.

Sensitive information

We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through our general website. A specialized application may process sensitive information only where its purpose requires it, appropriate safeguards are implemented, and an additional notice or client instruction applies.

3. Sources of personal information

We may receive information directly from you; from your employer, organization, or authorized representative; from an AsliTech client that provides access to a service; from service providers and integration partners; from publicly available business sources; and automatically through your use of our website or services.

4. How we use personal information

• Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver projects, administer contracts, and provide customer support.
• Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, secure services, and prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, personalize, analyze, and improve our website, applications, products, and services.
• Process transactions, maintain business and tax records, and manage subscriptions or service entitlements.
• Send service notices, security alerts, updates, and—where permitted—marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• Measure website and campaign performance and understand how users interact with our services.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims.
• Carry out other purposes disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information for unrelated advertising without an appropriate legal basis or consent.

5. Legal bases for processing

Depending on the service and applicable law, we process information because it is necessary to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps; to comply with a legal obligation; for legitimate interests such as operating, securing, and improving our business and services; with your consent; or to protect vital interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting processing already carried out.

6. When we share information

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

• Hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, communications, customer support, security, payment, accounting, and professional service providers acting under appropriate obligations.
• Authorized employees, contractors, affiliates, and project partners who need the information to perform their work.
• Your organization or the client responsible for the service you use.
• Third-party services you choose to connect, such as Google, Meta/Facebook, payment services, app stores, maps, email, social media, or other integrations.
• Government authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
• A buyer, successor, or adviser in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality.

Service providers may use information only to deliver contracted services to us unless they independently disclose another lawful role.

7. Google, Meta/Facebook, app stores, and other platforms

Some AsliTech services may offer sign-in, publishing, analytics, messaging, cloud, advertising, payment, or distribution features provided by third parties. When you connect such a service, we receive and use only the permissions and data needed to provide the requested feature, subject to the permissions you grant and the platform’s rules.

Your use of a third-party platform is also governed by that platform’s own terms and privacy policy. You can usually revoke an integration through the relevant platform settings. You may also request deletion of AsliTech-held data through our User Data Deletion Instructions.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies for security, session management, preferences, and core functionality. Where enabled, analytics or marketing technologies may help us understand traffic and improve communications. You can control cookies through browser settings and, where available, a consent control. Blocking essential cookies may cause parts of a service to stop working.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry. We will honor legally required preference signals where supported and applicable.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, account administration, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Retention periods vary by data type and may depend on contractual requirements, the duration of an account or project, statutory recordkeeping obligations, backup cycles, and the risk associated with the information.

When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period and are protected from ordinary use.

10. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure configuration, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, backups, and confidentiality obligations. No website, network, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use.

11. International data transfers

AsliTech is based in Pakistan. Our service providers or clients may operate in other countries. Where information is transferred across borders, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law. Privacy protections in another country may differ from those in your country.

12. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, updating, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of marketing; or lodge a complaint with a competent authority.

To submit a request, email privacy@aslitech.pk or follow our data deletion instructions. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a lawful privacy right.

13. Children’s privacy

Our general website and business services are not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

14. Data processed for AsliTech clients

For many custom systems, AsliTech processes personal information on behalf of a client organization. In that situation, the client determines why and how the information is used, and AsliTech acts as a service provider or processor under the client’s instructions. Requests about such data should normally be directed to the relevant client. We will assist the client as required by contract and law.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, services, or business practices. The “Last updated” date will show when revisions took effect. Material changes may also be communicated through the relevant service or by another appropriate method.
